Our attitude towards outsiders, the unlovely and unloving, and even those who persecute us, must not be hatred, rejection or indifference.

We must positively seek their good. God has given us the example to follow. His gifts are given freely even to those who do not acknowledge him as Lord

Matthew 5:45-47

To be a “son of “ was to be like someone or something.

*That you may be sons of your Father in heaven* means “that you may be like the Heavenly Father who displays His love without discrimination “.

 *01/06/2025* *THANKSGIVING SERVICE* TOPIC: *WHAT DOES GOD DO?* INTRODUCTION  - The creation of the earth and the near heavens  Genesis 1:1-31 The rest of the chapter is then seen as an expression on the summary of Genesis 1:1. However, it is also possible that those words outline the first step in creation, with the words *in the beginning* being equivalent to "first". The idea then would be that the first thing God did was to create the raw shell ( heaven and earth) and then for six days he filled that shell with content.
