1 Timothy 3:16

The Ephesian believers themselves are evidence that *Christ was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world.*

The culmination of church's proclamation is the truth of *Christ's resurrection*, whereby he was *taken up in glory*. These truths must be proclaimed and guarded by the church, which is "the pillar and foundation of the truth".

*One God* is a central truth of the Hebrew Scriptures. The only living God desires all to be saved. He is the only One to whom our prayers should be addressed.

The *one* Mediator is the *Man Christ Jesus*

Hebrews 9:11-15

There is one God from whom salvation is available. There is only one way to Him, through the Mediator Christ Jesus, who has the full nature of God and the full nature of man. Christ has identified with us; He understands us perfectly and represents us at the right hand of God the Father.
