Matthew 6:9

Most prayers in the Bible start with an address to God.

Daniel 9:4

Nehemiah 1:5

Both Daniel and Nehemiah start their prayers with some aspect of God, which becomes the focus of the prayer and from which other issues arise. Jesus does the same in this prayer, in which he addresses God as Our Father in heaven.
