Colossians 4:2

Paul encourages the Colossians to be diligent in thanksgiving and prayer.

Rejoicing and gentleness are difficult during times of anxiety, and so Paul counsels the believers that they should be free from any kind of anxiety. How? By being people of prayer and presenting everything to God with thanksgiving for the Lord's mercy and forgiveness.

For a Christian, God is an intimate friend and Lord who is able to help in all circumstances.
