HOW TO PRAY


1. Not to be seen of men.

Matthew 6:5

Prayer was an important part of Jewish religious life.

Devout Jews prayed three times a day: at dawn, midday, and dusk.

Daniel 6:10

Acts 3:1

While we have no historical evidence of ostentatious praying in the street, it is not unlikely that certain people organized their day so that the time of prayer found them on a street corner.
