INTRODUCTION

The period of  *forty days and forty nights* matched Moses' earlier pilgrimage to Sinai.

Exodus 24:18

A person can survive without food for weeks . But no one can go without water for more than three or four days. If Moses drank no water for forty days, then we must view his continued existence as a miracle of the Lord. Is it possible that he was removed into a heavenly sphere for this long period of time? We are confident that God was able to sustain His servant in any way He pleased!
