Acts 14:26

"From there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to *the grace of God* for the work which they had completed".


From Attalia, the missionaries returned to their home church at Syrian Antioch.

This church had commissioned them

Acts 14:26; 13:3 and thus they were accountable to it.


Why was the grace of God so important in the experience of the early Christians?

Why did the church in Antioch pray the GRACE of God would be upon Paul and Barnabas, and later on Paul and Silas, as they set out on their missionary journeys?
