1 Peter 2:4-12 (NKJV)


Topic verse:

*"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light"*

1 Peter 2:9


Jesus is the foundation stone from which the placement of all other living stones in the spiritual house (1 Peter 2:5) is determined (Isaiah 28:16). In ancient buildings, the cornerstone was first situated on the foundation and then all of the other stones were aligned to it. Thus as part of the house of God, we need to keep our focus on our Cornerstone (Hebrews 12:2).

Those who *trust* in Jesus will never be embarrassed by making Him the focus of their lives.
