Acts 13:23

SALVATION HAS BEEN GIVEN THROUGH ISRAEL

Paul turns to the salvation that was to come to the people through David's descendant and announces that God has kept his promise and sent the Saviour, Jesus.

His coming had been announced by *John the Baptist who was a forerunner who had insisted that he himself was not the Saviour* (Acts 13:24-25).

But now the Saviour has come and the message of salvation is being sent out to all who fear God - whether they are Abraham's descendants or God-fearing Gentiles (Acts 13:26).
