Psalms 68:17
Just as God had previously made his presence known on Mount Sinai, so he made his presence known in the temple on Mount Zion.

Deuteronomy 33:2
This verse reminded the Israelites of the awe-inspiring revelation of God in all of His glory. God came down to Israel and revealed His covenant and law to them at Mount Sinai. Poetically, Moses referred to Seir and Paran located northeast of Mount Sinai. With these references, Moses implied that God's revelation took place throughout the whole wilderness journey (Judges 5:4,5).
*ten thousands of saints:* Angelic beings attended the giving of the law. (Acts 7:53; Galatians 3:19; Hebrews 2:2).

Acts 7:53
Stephen accuses the council of being disobedient to God's law, the law that had been handed down by angels at Sinai (Acts 7:38).

Galatians 3:19
The purpose of the law of Moses was not to justify humankind in God's eyes (Galatians 2:16). Rather, the law was added after God's promise to Abraham (Galatians 3:16,17) to clarify the issue of sin until Christ *the Seed* (Galatians 3:16) came.
According to Stephen's sermon in Acts 7, the law was given through angels to Moses as the human mediator (Acts 7:38). This view was in line with Jewish teaching of the New Testament era. No mediator, or go-between, was needed with the Abrahamic covenant since it was a *one* party or unilateral *promise*. God put Abraham into a "deep sleep" and consummated the ceremonial enactment of the covenant alone (Genesis 15:12-17).

Hebrews 2:2
*the word spoken through angels:* The Law was delivered from God to Moses by angels (Deuteronomy 33:2; Acts 7:38; Galatians 3:19).

The law and commandment of God over my life is peace, protection, provision, deliverance and healing.
