God’s miracles glorify Him 

Numbers 14:22

Moses’ dramatic recitation led to God’s pardon of the rebels. The passion of God was seen in the exclamation of the words *as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD*.

God scolded the people who had ignored the many evidences of His glory in their midst, and who had put Him to the test.

God judgment was that the people who rejected Him would not see the land.

Everyone was included except Caleb and Joshua.

It is absolutely useless. It can take up so much of one’s energy that one is paralyzed and cannot act. We need to recognize that while the necessities of life, like clothes, are important, they are not to become an all-consuming passion. Solomon’s wardrobe fades into insignificance beside the simple beauty of a flower according to Matthew 6:29. A flower has a very short lifespan, but God fills it with beauty in spite of this.
