CREATION 

- Since God alone is Creator of EVERYTHING, we must not worship the stars, spirits, idols, people, plants or animals III

Romans 1:20-25

They make images out of wood, stone or metal to replace God. Such images do not deserve worship. When the truth about God is suppressed, the truth that human beings are made in the image of God is also suppressed. Then people start to behave wickedly towards one another.

Failure to honour God is the root of evil in society, and until we return to honouring God in our relationships, problems will continue to exist in our societies.

However, it is also possible that those words outline the first step in creation, with the words *in the beginning* being equivalent to "first".
