PROPHECY ON NIGERIA

*PROPHECY ON NIGERIA* October 2002, Guatemala, South America. By Cindy Jacobs The Lord says to Nigeria, I have given you a missionary spirit and *I am surely going to change the nations of the earth through you*. But now I will give you the anointing to change your nation. The Lord says I am going to begin to unravel the corrupt system in Nigeria and men will say it is impossible but I say with God all things are possible. And I am going to change Nigeria to the next generation says God. *And the Lord says the unity of the leaders is coming* And I am going to use Nigeria to heal the rest of Africa because *what happens in Nigeria will affect the whole continent* *I am going to use you in the Middle East* God says l am getting ready to change many things. *Nigeria will be one of the safest nations on the face of the earth says God.* Amen. MAJOR OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES OF THE MESSIAH

*29/09/2021* *MID-WEEK SERVICE* THEME: *JESUS CHRIST* TOPIC: *JESUS* (Gk. Iesous) SUB-TOPIC: *THE MESSIAH* MAJOR OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES OF THE MESSIAH Isaiah 2:10-11 Dust symbolizes the abject humility of the defeated Isaiah 47:1 Genesis 3:14 Psalms 44:25 The wicked among the Israelites would grovel in the dust before the righteous Lord. Lofty looks are the outer manifestation of proud hearts. The refrain *the LORD alone shall be exalted* highlights the theme of this prophecy and describes *the coming, glorious revelation of the risen and exalted Saviour King* *In that day* the Saviour will be exalted above all other proud contenders. *©2021* *Ecumenican Church Nigeria ®* Instagram: *@ecumenicanchurch* WhatsApp: *+2348052366039* Email: *johnifesanya@gmail.com* *www.johnifesanya.blogspot.com* *#ECN#* Powered by *JDIS*

MAJOR OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES OF THE MESSIAH

*26/09/2021* *ANOINTING HEALING AND COMMUNION SERVICE* THEME: *JESUS CHRIST* TOPIC: *JESUS* (Gk. Iesous) SUB-TOPIC: *THE MESSIAH* MAJOR OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES OF THE MESSIAH Isaiah 2:6-9 The exhortation to the house of Jacob was necessary for God had handed it over to destruction Isaiah 2:5 God forsook the house of Jacob in the present, but not permanently, condition for the Israelites. To renounce eastern ways and soothsayers, the customs of Mesopotamia, was a hallmark of genuine faith in the God of Israel. Deuteronomy 18:10 *They are pleased* could be translated "they clasp hands", suggesting political alliances with foreigners. *2 Kings 16:7 depicts Ahaz's dependence on the Lord for salvation* They worship man-made idols. Each man humbles himself before things that are themselves debased - idols. Wanting God to uphold moral order, yet intimately knowing God's gracious character, Isaiah implored Him not to forgive those who had turned to idols. *©2021* *Ecumenica

MAJOR OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES OF THE MESSIAH

*15/09/2021* *MID-WEEK SERVICE* THEME: *JESUS CHRIST* TOPIC: *JESUS* (Gk. Iesous) SUB-TOPIC: *THE MESSIAH* MAJOR OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES OF THE MESSIAH Isaiah 2:1-2 Some have interpreted the phrase *in the latter days* as pointing to the new epoch initiated by the saving work of Christ and the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Acts 2:17. According to this interpretation, this prophecy will be completely fulfilled in the Second Coming of the Messiah. 1 Corinthians 15:28. Others interpret this passage as referring to conditions in *Christ's future Kingdom*. The fuller development of this theme can be found in Micah 4:1-4. Just as *the LORD'S house* (the temple) was a type of the heavenly sanctuary according to Hebrews 9:24, so presumably *the mountain* (Mount Zion) was a copy of a heavenly reality. Hebrews 9:23,24; 12:22-24. *In the coming Kingdom, the city of Jerusalem and its glorious temple will again become prominent* *©2021* *Ecumenican Church Nigeria ®* Instagram: *

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE MESSIAH'S REIGN

*12/09/2021* *SECOND SUNDAY SERVICE* THEME: *JESUS CHRIST* TOPIC: *JESUS* (Gk. Iesous) SUB-TOPIC: *THE MESSIAH* MAJOR OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES OF THE MESSIAH Psalms 110 *Announcement of the Messiah's Reign* It is a royal psalm, one of the most directly messianic psalms. It should be read in conjunction with other messianic psalms such as Psalms 2 and Psalms 24. Jesus Himself identified David as the writer of this psalm. Jesus' interpretation of this psalm is crucial for unlocking the psalm's meaning. Matthew 22:41-45 Mark 12:35-37 Luke 20:41-44 Compare Peter's exposition of the psalm in Acts 2:34-36. In the identification of "my Lord" in verse 1, *David was speaking of someone greater than himself*. *Since no ordinary son of David could be greater than him, "the Lord" of verse 1 refers to the coming Messiah, God's Son* Hence this psalm describes a conversation between God the Father and God the Son (verse 1), in which *the Father grants the Son

THE MESSIAH'S FAITH PERSEVERING IN TRIAL

*08/09/2021* *MID-WEEK SERVICE* THEME: *JESUS CHRIST* TOPIC: *JESUS* (Gk. Iesous) SUB-TOPIC: *THE MESSIAH* MAJOR OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES OF THE MESSIAH Psalms 40 *The Messiah's faith persevering in trial* The trial of David mimics that of Christ, the Messiah for His church and humanity. Psalms 40 is a psalm of declarative praise that moves into a psalm of lament. *This psalm is a remarkable example of how troubles and difficulties forced David to depend continually on the Lord* *©2021* *Ecumenican Church Nigeria ®* Instagram: *@ecumenicanchurch* WhatsApp: *+2348052366039* Email: *johnifesanya@gmail.com* *www.johnifesanya.blogspot* *#ECN#* Powered by *JDIS*

THE SUFFERING PRAISE AND POSTERITY OF THE MESSIAH

*05/09/2021* *THANKSGIVING SERVICE* THEME: *JESUS CHRIST* TOPIC: *JESUS* (Gk. Iesous) SUB-TOPIC: *THE MESSIAH* MAJOR OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES OF THE MESSIAH Psalms 22 *The Suffering, Praise and Posterity of the Messiah* It is a profound lament psalm that concludes as a triumphant psalm of praise for God's deliverance. Although this psalm speaks of David's own distress and the Lord's deliverance of him, *it also prophetically describes in remarkable detail Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection* The *language* David uses to describe his own predicament is prompted by the *Holy Spirit*. Thus it could span *a thousand years* to describe precisely the experiences of the Saviour Jesus - both His excruciating death and victorious resurrection. *Tithes & Offering* Genesis 14:18-20 Account name: The Ecumenican Church Account number: 2280020397 Banker: Eco Bank Nig.
