THEME: *THE GOSPEL WITHOUT HEALING*

Text: Acts 26:8
*"Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?"*

Introduction
Miracles and healings raise a question; some people say the days of miracles are gone. Others say, even though, God heals, but some conditions are too bad for God to heal.
Check through the Gospels, we will see impossibilities turn to possibilities by our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever according to Hebrews 13:8.
The word of God is real, true and alive. Miracles and healings are living testimonies to the authenticity of the Bible.

*The ministry of Jesus Christ* had 3 cardinal areas, that of preaching, teaching and healing. The three areas are exclusive to the life of Jesus; one cannot be substituted for the other. The three complement one another.
What is preached and taught should be demonstrated and seen by all to be true and real. During the life of Jesus, diverse miracles and healings were done as recorded in the Bible. Including the miracles and healings in the Gospel according to Matthew, Mark, Luke, John
They include:
1. The man with leprosy. Matthew 8:1-4
2. The Centurion servant healed. Matthew 8:5-13
3. Jesus heals many. Matthew 8:14-17
4. The healing of two demon-possessed men. Matthew 8:28-34
5. Jesus heals a paralytic. Matthew 9:1-8
6. A dead girl and sick woman. Matthew 9:18-25
7. Jesus heals the blind and mute. Matthew 9:27-34
8. Jesus heals the sick in Gennesaret. Matthew 14:34-36
9. The Cannanite woman's daughter healed. Matthew 15:21-28.
10. Jesus cures many people. Matthew 15:29-31
11. Jesus cures a boy with a demon. Matthew 17:14-21
12. Jesus heals two blind men. Matthew 20:29-34

*Healing ministry of Elisha*
1. The Shunammite's son restored to life. 2 Kings 4:32-37
2. Naaman healed of leprosy. 2 Kings 5:9-14
3. Death of Elisha. 2 Kings 13:20-21.

*Healing ministry of Apostles*
1. Peter heals the crippled beggar. Acts3:1-10
2. The Apostles heal many. Acts5:12-16
3. The healing of Aeneas. Acts9:32-35
4. Eutychus raised from the dead at Troas. Acts20:7-12.

*Pentecost Sunday is the birthday and official inauguration of the Church*
