CAIN'S WIFE III

*27/11/2022* *ANOINTING HEALING AND COMMUNION SERVICE* THEME: *UNNAMED PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE* TOPIC: *CAIN'S WIFE III* Text: Genesis 4:16-17 *The line of Cain: Multiplication of evil* It is significant that it is in the line of Cain that God's ideal for marriage takes another blow as polygamy is mentioned for the first time. Genesis 4:19 God had made Adam only one helper, although he could have made more as Adam still had more ribs. Lamech is acting in defiance of God's plan. *©2022* *Ecumenican Church Nigeria ®* Instagram: *@ecumenicanchurch* WhatsApp/Telegram: *+2348052366039* Email: *johnifesanya@gmail.com* *www.johnifesanya.blogspot.com* *#ECN Ibadan #* Powered by *JDIS*

CAIN'S WIFE II

*20/11/2022* *THIRD SUNDAY SERVICE* THEME: *UNNAMED PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE* TOPIC: *CAIN'S WIFE II* Text: Genesis 4:16-17 *The line of Cain: Multiplication of evil* In the land of Nod, away from the Lord's presence, Cain raised a family. Where did Cain find his wife? Genesis 4:17a. According to Genesis 5:4, after the birth of Seth, Adam had 'other sons and daughters '. The logical conclusion is that Cain married one of his sisters. Such marriages were not prohibited during these early days because God accepted that they would be necessary for a period of time, even though God later condemned the marriage of brothers and sisters. Leviticus 18:6-18. In the larger family tree in Genesis 5, it is Seth's line that is followed and not Cain's. *Sin harms individuals and families by putting them in a place they would not have been in if they had followed the way of righteousness.* Psalms 1:1-4. Heads of families need to keep this warning in mind. Our actions will affect o

UNNAMED PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE

*13/11/2022* *SECOND SUNDAY SERVICE* THEME: *UNNAMED PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE* TOPIC: *CAIN'S WIFE* Text: Genesis 4:16-17 *The line of Cain: Multiplication of evil* After Cain heard the Lord's punishment for his sin of murder, the unrepentant Cain asked for mercy. Genesis 4:13-15 There are various views about what the mark the Lord put on Cain was. It may have been a physical mark for others to see or it may have been some sign that Cain could see to give him assurance of God's protection. But the message of the sign was 'This is my man to punish, leave him to me!' No wonder Paul warned: 'Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows' Galatians 6:7 With his mark in place, Cain went out from the Lord's presence and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden. *He had lost the most important thing in life: the Lord's presence* Genesis 4:16 *©2022* *Ecumenican Church Nigeria ®* Instagram: *@ecumenicanchurch* WhatsApp/Telegram: *+234805236603

MOSES: A PRINCE OF EGYPT

*06/11/2022* *PRAISE & THANKSGIVING SERVICE* THEME: *MOSES: A PRINCE OF EGYPT* TOPIC: *CALL TO NATIONAL SERVICE VIII* Text: Exodus 3:21,22 God would so humiliate their leader Pharaoh that the common people of Egypt would become favorably displaced toward Israel. The Israelites, who had been slaves in Egypt, would not leave empty handed. They would plunder the Egyptians by merely asking for precious goods. Exodus 11:2; 12:35,36 Later, the Israelites gave these very same precious goods to God as offerings for the tabernacle. Exodus 35 Thus God enriched a slave populace so that they in turn were able to give their riches back to Him with thanksgiving. *©2022* *Ecumenican Church Nigeria ®* Instagram: *@ecumenicanchurch* WhatsApp/Telegram: *+2348052366039* Email: *johnifesanya@gmail.com* *www.johnifesanya.blogspot.com* *#ECN Ibadan #* Powered by *JDIS*
