*29/06/2022* *2022 NIGERIA PEACE PRAYER PROJECT* *MID-WEEK SERVICE* TOPIC: *WORLD PEACE IX* Text: Isaiah 2:1-4 NKJV *Peace in the Community* A Christian will be open, reasonable and kind regardless of his neighbor's attitude. Disputes can be resolved many times through surrender and peaceful negotiation. There are many opportunities to practice the way of peace in our business relationships. Financial discrepancies are often a cause of disagreements. A Christian places his faith in God and at times is willing to suffer loss in order to maintain peace. Christians at all times should work out a peaceful resolution and forgive. When a Christian faces a dispute, an unselfish, peaceful attitude often brings about a settlement. *"If it be possible, as much as lies in you, live peaceably with all men"* Romans 12:18 Sometimes a Christian is served notice of a lawsuit even though every effort has been made to resolve the issue. MOSES: A PRINCE OF EGYPT

*19/06/2022* *THIRD SUNDAY SERVICE* THEME: *MOSES: A PRINCE OF EGYPT* TOPIC: *BIRTH AND CHILDHOOD* *SUB-TOPIC: *MOSES IS BORN* Text: Exodus 2:1 The events surrounding Moses' birth clearly demonstrate the powerful working of God's providence. This child's life was given by God, and God used circumstances, people and natural elements to protect it. Moses was born to ordinary parents, in a very ordinary family, who knew their origins. Both his parents came from the tribe of Levi. We are later told that his father's name was Amram and that his mother's name was Jochebed according to Exodus 6:20. However, it is possible that these are the names of earlier ancestors because Amram is identified as one of 'the sons of Kohath' in Exodus 6:16, and Kohath would have been born some 350 years before Moses' time. The family included two other children, Aaron and Miriam. Exodus 6:20; 15:20 *©2022* *Ecumenican Church Nigeria®* Instagram: *@ecumenicanchurch* WhatsApp/Te

Peace In Issues of Abuse

*15/06/2022* *2022 NIGERIA PEACE PRAYER PROJECT* *MID-WEEK SERVICE* TOPIC: *WORLD PEACE VII* Text: Isaiah 2:1-4 NKJV *Peace In Issues of Abuse* Individuals can be physically or emotionally abused by those around them. Innocent children become victims of physical or sexual abuse. Relationships can be severely damaged by verbal abuse. The shame and emotional hurt often go unnoticed or are ignored by those around them, and the victim feels powerless to seek help and healing. *Jesus* Himself suffered verbal and physical abuse. He willingly forgave, committing Himself to God. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus taught us to love and pray for those who despitefully use us. The Psalmist encourages reliance upon God when he says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" Psalms 46:1 Those who are abused and acknowledge their damage and pain can come to forgiveness and rest by looking in hope to the Saviour. Committing oneself to God is important and necessary. Reaching out

THE FINAL REVIVAL

*12/06/2022* *SECOND SUNDAY SERVICE* TOPIC: *THE FINAL REVIVAL* Text: Malachi 3:1-7; 4:5-6 Revelation 11:1-14 *"The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, says the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, says the Lord of hosts "* Haggai 2:9 Revival is a spiritual awakening usually at a time when majority have turned their back to God. Revival renews the power and glory of God in a community. At a time when people have lost direction and the compass of their destiny is lost; God sends his servant to bring His people back on course and prepare them for His visitation. Before judgment, there is a call to awakening lost souls. Revival is a grace time of mercy before the judgment of God. There are different records of revival in the Bible. In the days of Noah Genesis 6:5-22 Abraham Genesis 12:1-6 Moses Exodus 3:7-11 Jonah Jonah 3:1-3 Josiah 2 Kings 22:8-13 John the Baptist Matthew 3:1-12 Apostles of Christ Acts 5:12-16 The first coming of Jesu

WORLD PEACE VI

*08/06/2022* *2022 NIGERIA PEACE PRAYER PROJECT* *MID-WEEK SERVICE* TOPIC: *WORLD PEACE VI* Text: Isaiah 2:1-4 NKJV *Peace in the Home* Peace is a fruit of true love, and the home is an important place to practice the way of peace. Husbands and wives need open communication. Gracious understanding and daily forgiveness will help resolve differences. Children find security as parents submit to God and His order of love in the home. Children learn by example the grace of sharing and submission, and consistent child nurture will promote a peaceful home atmosphere. Instead of quarrelling, pouting or being silently resistant, each family member should practice peace. Matthew 5:9 Ephesians 4:31-32 For those who find themselves in marriage difficulties, there is hope in the way of peace. Direction can be found in the Word of God and in consultation with a faithful Christian pastor or counselor. The power of prayer and resignation to God will work miracles. Troubled marriages can be revived a

2022 PENTECOST SUNDAY

*05/06/2022* *2022 ANNUAL HOLY GHOST SERVICE* *(PENTECOST SUNDAY)* TOPIC: *The Gospel Without Healing & Miracles* Text: "Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?" Acts 26:8 NKJV *"The gospel without healing and miracles is incomplete "* Pastor John Ifesanya Miracles and healings raise a question; some people say the days of miracles are gone. Others say, even though, God heals, but some conditions are so bad for God to heal or perform a miracle. Through the Gospels, we see impossibilities turn to possibilities by our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 The Word of God is real, true and alive. Miracles and healings are living testimonies to the authenticity of the Bible *The ministry of Jesus Christ* had 3 cardinal areas, that of Preaching, teaching and healing. The three areas are exclusive to the life of Jesus; one cannot be substituted for the other. The three comp

WORLD PEACE V

*01/06/2022* *2022 NIGERIA PEACE PRAYER PROJECT* *MID-WEEK SERVICE* TOPIC: *WORLD PEACE V* Text: Isaiah 2:1-4 NKJV *How is it Possible to Live the Way of Peace?* Determination alone is not enough to live the principle of peace and nonresistance. It is *an inborn experience of conversion to Jesus Christ* "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a *new creature*:old things are passed away; behold all things are become new" 2 Corinthians 5:17 *When Christ dwells in the heart, we experience the "peace of God, which passes all understanding"* Philippians 4:7 *The disciple of Christ will endeavour to practice peace in every area of life* There is *power* to live peacefully because the *Prince of Peace* Himself dwells within the heart. *©2022* *Ecumenican Church Nigeria®* Instagram: *@ecumenicanchurch* WhatsApp/Telegram: *+2348052366039* Email: *johnifesanya@gmail.com* *www.johnifesanya.blogspot.com* *#ECN Ibadan #* Powered by *JDIS*
