It means that every human being resembles his or her Creator in some way. Consequently, every human being is special and important.  *25/06/2025* *MID WEEK SERVICE* TOPIC: *WHAT DOES GOD DO?* INTRODUCTION  - The creation of the earth and the near heavens VII Genesis 1:1-31 The creation of living beings follows the same sequence as the material creation. On day five, God created the creatures that live in sea and sky according to Genesis 1:20-23, followed on the sixth day by animals that live on land according to Genesis 1:24-25, and finally the culmination of his creation, human beings. The privileged position of human beings is shown by the fact that our creation required a special decision, presented as if it was made at some gathering. He created the sky according to Genesis 1:6-8, followed by sea and dryland in Genesis 1:9. The dryland would be the main arena for human life and would provide the ingredients for that life (Genesis 2:7). No matter what God ordered to come into being, gather or separate, it came to be. He has the power to create and the power to order his creation. We can rely on this same power in our circumstances.  *08/06/2025* *2025 PENTECOST SUNDAY* TOPIC: *THE POWER OF HOLINESS* *"Holiness: the greatest force in the planet"* Pastor John Ifesanya  Text: Acts 25:11 John 14:29,30 We have associated Holiness with weakness, orthodoxy and been obsolete. But the greatest power God has is this. No man can claim to have seen God without holiness. Anointing may be enough to confront demons, principalities and powers. But it takes Holiness to face their master, the devil. Isaiah 65:5 The glory of God is His holiness according to Isaiah 6:3; Exodus 15:11 and Matthew 25:31. Holiness is prerequisite for christian life, it is a life of consecration to God, service and ministry. He was controlling the creation project, with the result that all creation takes place under God's watchful eye and results from his power. This account of the creation in six days (whether taken literally as twenty-four hour days or figuratively as representing long periods of time) reveals a methodical God who created different things one after another with precise purpose.
